Key Areas of Work

Building local leadership

Investing in local leadership to strengthen the local processes, ownership and ensure sustainability; building a cadre of trained young development workers from the community to lead the community in development interventions.

Primary Education

Focusing on the gaps in enrollment, improvement in infrastructure, management and teachers’ motivation; addressing the issues of social exclusion, gender disparity & locational disadvantage under the overall framework of equity.

Mother and Child Health

It is about empowering women to adopt safe motherhood and child care practices primarily through capacity building. It ensures access to relevant Government schemes and programmes, and focuses on strengthening monitoring mechanisms by village level women collectives.


Empowerment of tribal and dalit communities through initiatives in agriculture, natural resource management and building cooperatives; creating awareness on safe migration.

Where we work

AHP envisages to have a pan-India presence and work with various communities to alleviate poverty and hunger.

We have our registered office in Bengaluru and operations office in New Delhi. We started our welfare initiatives in the Satna and Rewa districts of Madhya Pradesh and East/West Singhbhum district of Jharkand.
