AHP commenced its programmatic initiatives by supporting local NGOs and Community Based Organisations in two States.


East /West Singhbhum, Jharkhand

Swadhina – meaning self-esteemed Women, established in 1986, is focusing onEmpowerment of Women & Child Development based on Sustainable
Development and Right to Right Livelihood. Swadhina believes that positive social change has a direct effect on the lives of women and that change is possible only through an equal and spontaneous participation of Women. They are specifically focussing on remote tribal districts in Jharkhand.

Tarang Jan KalyanSamiti

Satna district, Madhya Pradesh

Tarang Jan KalyanSamiti (TJKS) has been working, since 2002, with marginalized tribals and dalits in Satna district covering 150 villages. Situated in the Vindhya Mountains, this wooded area is rich in natural resources like herbs, minerals and wood.

Rewanchal Dalit Adivasi Sewa Sansthan

Rewa District, Madhya Pradesh

Rewanchal Dalit Adivasi Sewa Sansthan (RDASS) has been operation in the block of Jawa in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The organization is established in 2007 by Ms. Siyadulari Adivasi, who has been working since past 13 years. The organization is working in 40 villages of Jawa block and empowering tribals and dalit communities on the issues of malnutrition, education, health and land rights.
